Who am I

Hello, my name is Chris, and I am a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist with a BSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am a pre-accredited member of the IACP and offer both online and in-person sessions from my base in Ashbourne.

My therapeutic style is integrative, with a strong foundation in person-centred therapy. This means I draw from different approaches depending on your unique needs, while always ensuring that our work together is guided by empathy, respect, and understanding.

I offer open-ended sessions, as I believe that clients themselves will know when they are ready to bring therapy to a close. My philosophy is to empower clients, I believe you hold the answers within yourself, and my role is to support and facilitate your journey towards greater autonomy, resilience, and self-awareness.

I chose to become a counsellor because I see the good in people and their potential for growth and change. I am passionate about creating a safe and supportive space where you can explore challenges, build self-confidence, and move forward at your own pace.

I work with clients experiencing a wide range of issues, including anxiety, self-esteem, grief, relationship difficulties, depression, and workplace stress.

If you would like to know more, or to arrange an initial session, please feel free to get in touch. I would be happy to hear from you.
